The search for intelligent life in the universe.
The "New Creation" is the period which follows upon the "end of the
world", the last period of the First Creation.
(See also Excursus 12: "The Creation.")
However, obviously one cannot really call the "New Creation" a "period of
time" any more. This is the second Creation of God and it differs from the first earth and the first
heaven just as they differ from that state which had been before God said "Let there be".
In the insight into this new world that is granted to us we see the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down
out of heaven from God like an adorned bride. The righteous will enter into this city and God and the Lamb
will live with them and will be their sun for ever.
A new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away.
Rev 21,1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the
first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 21,2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
21,3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and
He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,
21,4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no
longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." Rev 21, 1 – 4;
And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new."
Rev 21,5 And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all
things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true." 21,6 Then He said
to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who
thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. Rev 21, 5 – 6;
The above text from Rev 21,1 is the prelude to a New Creation. God will create a new heaven
and a new earth. From that one can now in all probability draw the conclusion that it will not only be a new
kind of planet which will be formed anew, but obviously it will also be a new "heaven", that is to
say a new universe, which God will create for the days of eternity.
And we find out even a second thing from this text. It says there, "the first heaven and the first
earth have passed away". This means that this present world of ours with the entire cosmos surrounding
it, actually is the first creation of our God. This is also confirmed by the repeated statement in
verse 4, "… the first things have passed away". So, there are no "multiple"
creations, as some interpreters want to see in relation to Gen 2,5 and the following pages.
But in principle this verse here, Rev 21,1 is only once again a confirmation of the things we have already
learned from Rev 20,11, where there is talk about the Last Judgment:
From whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.
Rev 20,11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose
presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. Rev 20,11;
The city has no need of the sun or of the moon, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
Rev 21,23 And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it,
for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 21,24 The nations will walk by its light,
and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 21,25 In the daytime (for there will be no night
there) its gates will never be closed; Rev 21,23-25;
There will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them.
Rev 22,5 And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of
the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign
forever and ever. 22,6 And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God
of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond – servants the things which must soon take
place.
22,7 "And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this
book."
22,8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at
the feet of the angel who showed me these things. 22,9 But he said to me, "Do not do that. I am a fellow
servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship
God." 22,10 And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time
is near. Rev 22, 5 – 10;
From the texts above we see now an – especially for our limited human understanding –
peculiar characteristic of this New Creation: There will not be a sun any more. The conclusion from the
formulation "the city has no need of the sun – " that nevertheless a sun and a moon would be
there fails because of the statements in the psalms where it is expressly pointed out in Ps 72,1 – 5 that the
sun and the moon will shine as long as the "righteous king" will reign. That means that there still
will be the sun and the moon in the thousand years of the Millennium since it is still the old, the First
Creation. But with the end of the First Creation the sun and the moon will pass away, too.
By the way, it is remarkable that in all these prophecies about the sun and the moon in the Scriptures – and
there are even some more than have been quoted here – always both celestial bodies are mentioned together.
For instance, it never says anywhere, "The sun lost its shine and only the moon was the light of
men": In those days where one did not know that the moon only shines because it reflects the sunlight
shining upon it to the earth, prophecies which the human spirit had brought forward, would not have seen any
necessity to always mention both celestial bodies together. So, therefore it is – if one wants to put it
like that – also a confirmation of the divine inspiration of these prophecies.
(See also Chapter 04: "The Great Darkness.")
Let them fear You while the sun endures, and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
Ps 72,1 «A Psalm of Solomon.» Give the king Your judgments, O God,
And Your righteousness to the king’s son. 72,2 May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your
afflicted with justice. 72,3 Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.
72,4 May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.
72,5 Let them fear You while the sun endures, And as long as the moon, throughout all generations. Ps
72, 1 – 5;
No longer will you have the sun for light by day, nor for brightness will the moon give you light; But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light.
Isa 60,19 "No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor for
brightness will the moon give you light; But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, And your God
for your glory. 60,20 "Your sun will no longer set, Nor will your moon wane; For you will have the LORD
for an everlasting light, And the days of your mourning will be over.
60,21 "Then all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, The branch of My
planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified. 60,22 "The smallest one will become a clan, And
the least one a mighty nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time." Isa 60,19 – 22;
Although the text above in Isa 60,19 – 22 refers primarily to the Millennium and Zion, one
nevertheless recognizes very clearly the anticipation of the heavenly Jerusalem. The difference lies in the
fact that the promise "No longer will you have the sun for light by day, nor for brightness will the moon
give you light", applies – like quite a many of other prophecies (outpouring of the Holy Spirit,
fertility of the soil, age of men, etc.) – exclusively to Zion and Israel in the Millennium, where also the
Lord in his temple will light up the land with his glory, whereas for the rest of the world the sun and the
moon will remain the sources of light. In the heavenly Jerusalem, however, in the New Creation, the glory of
the Lord will light up the entire planet, so that a sun is not required at all any more.
(See also Table 12: "The earthly and the heavenly Jerusalem.")
The city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God.
Rev 3,10 ‘Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep
you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell
on the earth. 3,11 ‘I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
3,12 ‘He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it
anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem,
which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. Rev 3,10 – 12;
The new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride.
Rev 21,2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven
from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
21,3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and
He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, 21,4 and He will
wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any
mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." Rev 21, 2 – 4;
The holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, is the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
Rev 21,9Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven
last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the
Lamb."
21,10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city,
Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 21,11 having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a
very costly stone, as a stone of crystal – clear jasper. 21,12 It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates,
and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of
the sons of Israel. 21,13 There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on
the south and three gates on the west. Rev 21, 9 – 13;
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come".
Rev 22,16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for
the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."
22,17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come."
And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Rev 22,16 – 17;
The heavenly Jerusalem, the Holy City, is called the "bride of the Lamb" in the
above texts.
The length and the width and the height of the city are equal: 12,000 stadia.
Rev 21,14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were
the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 21,15 The one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod
to measure the city, and its gates and its wall.
21,16 The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city
with the rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length and width and height are equal. Rev 21,14 – 16;
You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem.
Hbr 12,22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, 12,23 to the general assembly and church of the
firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made
perfect, 12,24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better
than the blood of Abel. Heb 12,22 – 24;
But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother.
Gal 4,26 But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother. 4,27 For it
is written, "rejoice, barren woman who does not bear, break forth and shout, you who are not in labor;
for more numerous are the children of the desolate than of the one who has a husband." 4,28 And you
brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise. Gal 4,26 – 28;
The stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
Dan 2,32 "The head of that statue was made of fine gold, its breast and its
arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, 2,33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly
of clay. 2,34 "You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on
its feet of iron and clay and crushed them.
2,35 "Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were crushed all at the same time and
became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them
was found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. Dan
2,32 – 35;
Also here above, in Dan 2,32 – 35, we have a text which refers in the first place to the old
world. It is the "stone" of the dream of Nebuchadnezzar which became a great mountain "and
filled the whole earth". This is, of course a prophecy concerning the reign of the Messiah, concerning
the Millennium, the last kingdom on this earth, which will crush and destroy all human kingdoms.
But if we take a closer look at it, we can find also here allusions to the New Creation. Also the new
Jerusalem comes "without the help of hands of men", but down "out of heaven from God".
Also the new Jerusalem is a great mountain, as we will see below immediately. And also the new Jerusalem
"fills" with its dimensions a whole world.
The comparisons made in the following serve exclusively the purpose of the demonstration of
the huge dimensions of this heavenly Jerusalem and shall illustrate the orders of magnitude between the First
and the Second, the New Creation.
The new Jerusalem is a pyramid – shaped mountain (Rev 21:15-16:
made ready as a bride adorned for her husband) with a length, width, and height of 12,000
stadia, these are approximately 2,220 km (1,380 miles). Thus the sides of the new Jerusalem are exactly
a thousand times longer than the sides of the earthly Jerusalem that was built in the Millennium (Eze 48,16)
the dimensions of which are 4,500 cubits or 2,220 meters (1,38 miles).
If John had had this revelation in our time, he might have compared this heavenly city to a "huge,
radiantly decorated Christmas tree." Thus the heavenly Jerusalem has a surface area of approximately
5 million square kilometers (1,93 million square miles) and a "inhabitable" surface on all four
sides up to the mountain peak of altogether 8.5 million square kilometers (3,3 million square miles).
If one compares this surface to the one of Europe, the mere land surface (there is no sea in the heavenly
Jerusalem) of all Europe (including the CIS) amounts to approximately 10 million square kilometers so that the
heavenly Jerusalem would have a surface that is approximately 85 % of the land surface of Europe.
According to today’s considerations, the New Jerusalem should not only be a huge mountain, but a glass pyramid of this
huge dimensions. If one takes into account the statements in Rev 4,6 and 15,2 and the reference to the "sea of glass"
before the throne, "like crystal" and "mixed with fire", it could well be that in this heavenly
this heavenly Jerusalem everything is made of such glass.
Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.
Rev 4:6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, round the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and behind.. Rev 4:5;
And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea of glas.
Rev 15:2 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing
beside the sea of glass, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number
of its name. They held harps given them by God Rev 15:2;
After the inhabitants are spirit beings and therefore of non-material nature, no spatial obstacles exist for them.
If you look back, the very first building of mankind, the Tower of Babel, was also a pyramid. The reason for
the pyramid shape might have been the stability of the building (it should reach up to the sky).
But it would be also quite possible that this heavenly Jerusalem has always existed in heaven and before the
Flood also sons of God, thus angels from the sky stayed on earth, it has spread among the people. Or even this picture of the final abode of the children of God has itself in the spirit of humans as ideal picture
preserved over millennia.
Likewise,
as the spirit of each of these beings is openly observable for all other fellow inhabitants, it is, so to speak, the
"transparency on all levels". And because also God can see in the spirit of every human being on earth even the most backward thought,
the children of God should worship their Father in heaven "in spirit and in truth".
As Europe has approximately 700 million inhabitants, 85 % of them would result in only about
600 million potential inhabitants in the heavenly Jerusalem. But as a matter of correctness one has to take
into account that in the earthly values the share of the inhabitable land surface is considerably reduced by
very huge, uninhabitable mountainous areas, because of industrial plants, areas used for agriculture and
forestry as well as by a huge network of traffic routes. If one takes therefore very flat countries of Europe
for comparison, such as for instance Belgium and the Netherlands, with a surface of 30,000 and 36,000, that is
to say 66,000 square kilometers all told and a population of 10 million and 13 million, that is to say 23
million inhabitants all told, one gets a population density of about 350 inhabitants per square kilometer in
these countries. Compared to the surface of the heavenly Jerusalem of 8.5 million square kilometers and
supposing that there will be similar conditions of space for men then, this would result in an upper limit of
approximately 3 billion potential inhabitants!
The height of the new Mount Zion is hardly imaginable for present conditions. Taking into
account that today satellites and space platforms revolve around the earth at a height of approximately 400 – 40.000
km, the top of the new Jerusalem, with 2,220 km (1,380 miles), would jut out far into outer space today.
However, one cannot draw the automatic conclusion from that that therefore the new earth would have to be an
incomparably larger planet, with an atmosphere up to a height of approximately 3000 km. This would only be
necessary if the living beings that dwell in these regions, were oxygen breathers. But as all men in the new
Jerusalem will be redeemed with a resurrection body, such a requirement does not seem to be necessary.
As already mentioned, the heavenly Jerusalem will be exactly a thousand times larger than the
earthly Jerusalem in the Millennium. If one now – for the purpose of comparison – proceeded from the
assumption that the new earth would also be a planet and that the relation between old and new Jerusalem would
also apply to the new earth, this would be a planet of tremendous dimensions. For the new earth would then be
approximately 5 times larger than our present sun!
However, this planet would not be at all be the largest star even in our present cosmos. Only recently the
so – called "pistol star" was discovered by the means of the Hubble – telescope. Its diameter is more
than a hundred times larger than the diameter of our sun. If one put this star at the place of our sun, its
dimensions of 155 million kilometers would go far beyond the orbit of the planet which is closest to the sun
(Mercury, 116 million km).
The dimensions of the wall are specified with 144 cubits these are about 73 meters (80 yards)
and correspond approximately to a residential building of 24 stories. But as there is only talk about the
"dimensions" here, the question arises if this means now the height or the width of the wall. If we
take a look at the information given in Eze 40,5 for the erection of the wall in the Jerusalem of the
Millennium, it says there, "So he measured the thickness of the wall, one rod; and the height, one
rod." So, there width as well as height of the wall have the same dimension. The same might apply here in
the Jerusalem of the New Creation, and therewith this wall would be 80 yards in width as well as in height.
And finally this might also be the reason why John does not make any distinction here.
And he measured its wall, 144 cubits (seventy – three yards), according to human measurements.
Rev 21,17 And he measured its wall, a hundred and forty and four cubits,
according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements. 21,18 The material of the wall was
jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
21,19 The foundation stones of the city wall were adorned with every kind of precious stone. The first
foundation stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 21,20 the
fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth,
chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
21,21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the
city was pure gold, like transparent glass. Rev 21,17 – 21;
Behold, I will set your stones in antimony.
Isa 54,11 "O afflicted one, storm – tossed, and not comforted, Behold, I
will set your stones in antimony, And your foundations I will lay in sapphires. 54,12 "Moreover, I
will make your battlements of rubies, And your gates of crystal, And your entire wall of precious stones.
54,13 "All your sons will be taught of the LORD; And the well – being of your sons will be great.
54,14 "In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear;
And from terror, for it will not come near you. 54,15 "If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be
from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Isa 54,11 – 15;
Also the above text from Isa 54,11 – 15 refers primarily to the Millennium. This is also
confirmed by the verses 15 and the following, for in the New Creation there will be no fighting and no
defeating any more. However, in the verses 11 – 14 a striking parallel to Rev 21 can be seen. This confirms once
more the realization that the Millennium has to be considered as a prefulfillment of the New Creation – with
all earthly restrictions.
No more temple, the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its (heavenly Jerusalem) temple.
Rev 21,22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the
Lamb are its temple. Rev 21,22;
They will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it (heavenly Jerusalem).
Rev 21,26 And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
Rev 21,26;
As we learn above, in Rev 21,22, there will not be a temple in the heavenly Jerusalem. For God
and the Lamb are personally present and therefore no "symbol" in the form of a temple is required either.
This concretization facilitates the differentiation of the statements – especially in the Old Testament – of
prophecies which apply to the Millennium – where there will be a newly built temple – and those about the New
Creation without a temple considerably.
The river of the water of life and the trees of life.
Rev 22,1 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal,
coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 22,2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river
was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of
the tree were for the healing of the nations. 22,3 There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God
and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond – servants will serve Him; 22,4 they will see His face, and His name
will be on their foreheads. Rev 22, 1 – 4;
Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life.
Rev 22,11 "Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is
filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is
holy, still keep himself holy."
22,12 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he
has done. 22,13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
22,14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may
enter by the gates into the city. Rev 22,11 – 14;
He who overcomes, I will not erase his name from the book of life.
Rev 3,5 ‘He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and
I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before
His angels. Rev 3, 5;
He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.
Rev 21,7 "He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his
God and he will be My son.
21,8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers
and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the
second death." Rev 21, 7 – 8;
Those who wash their robes, may enter by the gates into the city.
Rev 22,13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the
beginning and the end." 22,14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right
to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Rev 22,13 – 14;
Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life shall come into it.
Rev 21,27 And nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying,
shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Rev
21,27;
As can be gathered from Rev 20,15, at the Last Judgment everyone whose "name was not
found written in the book of life", was thrown into the lake of fire. That means all except for those who
are written in the Book of Life, suffer the second death and will weep and gnash their teeth outside the city.
Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and the liars.
Rev 22,15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons
and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying. Rev 22,15;
The cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers, their part will be in the lake of fire.
Rev 21,7 "He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God
and he will be My son.
21,8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and
sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone,
which is the second death." Rev 21, 7 – 8;
The Lord Jesus sent His angel to testify these things for the churches.
Rev 22,16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for
the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."
22,17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And
let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
22,18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will
add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 22,19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the
book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are
written in this book. 22,20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen.
Come, Lord Jesus. 22,21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. Rev 22,16 – 21;
So, this is the New Creation: man lives in community with God, he has a new form of life, he
lives in a new Jerusalem, on a new earth, and even in a new universe. Many scholars and scientists, even
theologians maintain, this would be legends and myths and the assumption that only parts of them could become
reality, would be sheer fabrication and unscientific.
One of the most genius scientific heads of our time, the physicist Stephen Hawking says in his book "A
short history of time – The search for the elemental force of the universe" (page 156):
"The whole history of science is marked by the gradual realization that the
events do not take their course at will, but that they are subject to a certain order, which may be of divine
origin or not. (…) These laws may have been enacted by God originally. But it seems as if since that time he
has let the universe develop according to these laws and as if now he does not intervene any more."
This statement characterizes a little bit the dilemma, which science has got in for some years
now. Since quantum physics forces its way in larger and larger fields of classical physics, we have
experienced something like a "Copernican turn". Now nothing is any longer as it was before. And as
science has to realize that more and more things which seemed to be impossible according to the established
physical laws, suddenly become possible, at least in the realists among the scientists the suspicion rises
that perhaps after all a controlling force, a God, exists.
But the fact that this God lets "the whole universe develop according to these laws" should not
blind us to the fact that since the very beginning of the Creation already its end has been determined as
well. The same God who created this universe, will replace it by a new one, in which all men will spend their
eternal existence according to the decision they took during their earthly life.
The righteous, peace – loving, and faithful men will be surrounded by the righteousness and the peace of their
God. The godless, criminal, and selfish men will be tormented by the eternal fire not least because in all
their further eternal existence they will not have any possibility any more to change anything of this
agonizing situation of theirs.
The search for intelligent life in the universe.For decades humanity has been trying – with massive
scientific research, and enormous financial and material outlay – to
investigate the cosmos in search of intelligent life. For any correctly
